We hope you are having a great summer! This year in lieu of sending out a paper mail-out, we have progressed to an online system using our CHS athletic website, and Mail Chimp account to share with our Football Families about the 2018 Season.

Please read and respond to this email as needed, and look for a Ranger 2018 Football Schedule post card in the mail this month (you can also download your copy here).  As a part of the Ranger Football Family please make sure you:

  • Fill out the District Mandatory Athlete & Parent Rank One On-Line Forms ASAP (you can’t practice or play until these forms are complete).
  • Read the 2018 Football Parent Welcome Letter from Coach Darnell here
  • Update your calendar with Important Save The Dates 
  • Visit 2018 Merchandise Store (closes August 15th) *all players need a Game Day shirt*
  • Volunteer to Purchase or Sell at least one Game Day Program Ad by clicking here

We are excited to kick off our 2018 Ranger Football Season on Tue. July 31 with Freshman Camp from 8am-10am; and Sat. Aug. 11 at 10am with the Freshman, JV & Varsity Team Building Breakfast at the CHS Commons. Review our Save the Dates for more information, and read important information below.

Game Day Program Ad Sales
We need all our Ranger Football Families to help us sell or buy game day program ads to support our Boys in Blue. You can buy an Ad from your family that says “Go Rangers!” or you can sell an Ad to your favorite business. All full page Ads will get a shout out at each home game. Business Ads: Full Page $375, Half Page $250, Quarter Page $150. Student Ads: Full Page $200, Half Page: $100 and Quarter Page $50. Some families have purchased Ads for:
  • A Senior Ranger
  • A Ranger Student Organization
  • Your family
or you can also sell Ads to:

A local business
Anyone who supports the Rangers

All athletes and parents must sign the FBISD and UIL Rank One forms online before Wed. July 25. This is a district requirement, and forms must be completed online by athletes and parents.

Please remember, all athletes must have a physical on file with the training office before season begins.  If you have questions about your physical being on file with the coaches please email Doc

Sub Varsity Game Day Shirt

The Ranger Merchandise online store closes the first day of school, Wednesday, August 15 at midnight. All players need a Game Day shirt which is worn to school (with jeans or khakis) on game day. Freshman and JV players need the shirt marked Sub Varsity Game Day shirt, and Varsity Players need the shirt marked Varsity Game Day shirt.

We have a few scholarships for game day shirts, if you need a scholarship, please email Coach Darnell.
